Our Nami Teapot combines both form and function in a sleek modernist take on a brewing vessel. With its clean lines and angular motif, it is the perfect piece of porcelain teaware for a tea savvy minimalist. A textured matt treatment offers a luxurious tactile sensation while helping to prevent any slips while pouring. Comes with a fine mesh stainless steel infuser basket. Matches the Nami teacup and Nami mug.
“ This teapot is big, and easily serves four mugs of tea. It's easy to use, consisting only of the ceramic pot, lid, and metal cylinder filter in which you put the tea. Pouring is fast due to the large spout, so beware of this if you're used to a slower pour from other teapots!
I've given this teapot 3 stars as while it serves the purpose, using it for anything less than 3 mugs of tea results in problems with brewing, due to the limited size of the filter cylinder. The problem is that it doesn't reach the bottom of the pot, so you'll need at least two full mugs worth of water in it to provide enough for the tea to be submersed. We've used it for less than that without the filter, but you'll need to catch the leaves when you pour if you opt for this.
There is more one problem: staining. The outside of the pot has a rough surface and this has proven difficult to keep clean. Ours is stained where tea has dripped under the spout and around the top of the pot. It doesn't bother us but it's worth noting. ”

“ This is my new everyday teapot. Doesn't drip when I carry it. Holds an appropriate amount. The texture was odd at first but grew on me. ”
