“ UPDATED from 5/21/22: The CommuniTEA packet smells sweet of wood, cardamom, and cinnamon as the safflowers and peppercorns peak out. It steeps at a slightly lower temp to avoid bitterness, and has a lovely flavor. There is the butteriness of the woody assam melody, combined with subtle chai spices. After adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) the cinnamon and ginger become more prominent in this full flavored tea. So lovely as it cools. Steeps well a second time, even if a little lighter in color. A luscious light chai tea, with a warming cinnamon finish. (4 mins @ 200ºF + sweetener).

“ Moderate chai spice aromas and flavors. Cinnamon and red peppercorn zings were moderate throughout my sip. Mild unsweetened cocoa and pecan flavors from the tea were noted towards finish.
